Our little man had his first birthday last week. It was a celebration not to miss! Actually what you see is about all we did. The girls were so excited to have a birthday party for him but all I could hear from Ryan was, "Is that it? Aren't we going to make him a barbie cake or something?" and then after we opened his presents which was only two, shoes from us and a train from matt's parents, you could still hear Ryan saying "is that it?".
We made him a little cupcake and had him go to town. He loved it and that is all that matters. Then it was off to bed. He is trying so hard to walk. He is at the point were he wants to hold your hand and have you walk with him. Pretty soon he will be off on his own. He had a bad tumble down the stairs the other day. We are very lucky he didn't get hurt. We might have to put a helmet on his head. Anyway, He is such a cutie. We love him so much and am so grateful to have him in our family. He is our handsome little man.

He is a handsome little man and I can't believe he is already 1!! Adam always tells me that we should keep things simple while they are so little and don't know any different so I think your celebrations were spot on! Although it sounds like Ryan knows how to really P-A-R-T-Y. So cute...
Happy Birthday Luke! I didn't realize that he and Kaitlin had birthdays so close. It's sad how fast they grow up.
I can't wait to meet my little nephew! He is such a cutie. I am excited to see those darling girls again too!
